Construction Project Management

 

  • Academic training in architectural design, coupled by over 10 years of experience in project management and construction of high end residential projects. Notable projects include:

  • Ike Kligerman Barkley Architects and Cullman & Kravis Associates $6.5 million guesthouse featured on the front page of Architectural Digest. Responsible for all aspects of construction management: creating RFP’s, leveling sheets, submittals, RFI’s, BSK’s, negotiating contracts and hiring labor to reach profitable agreements , monthly requisitions, change orders, shop drawing reviews, time schedules. Created, tracked and documented comprehensive daily and weekly reports. Kept a  regular communication with principal to get bidding contracts approved and discussed weekly goals. Developed and depend client relationship resulting on a successful project and satisfied client.

  • Bates Masi Architects $60 million Villa House. In charge of communications, RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings review, daily communication with architects, subs and site supervisors to clarify and minimize time delays and construction errors. Part   of weekly meetings with BMA and MAW teams to identified design challenges and construction progress.

  • D’ Apostrophe Design Inc.$3.5 million renovation. Liaised with environmental specialist and consultants in order to assess damages caused by fire and smoke. Delivered a comprehensive budget and time schedule for this project.  

  • Worked together with in-house MAW team estimating on 4 project bids which resulted in 3 awarded projects ranging from $10 million to $25 million.

Skills

 

  • Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish native level). Strong ability to understand Portuguese.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture software, Rhinoceros software, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Architectural pencil drawing, Mechanical pencil drawing and model making.
